The new Zest 110 is equipped with the same Eco-thrust Fuel injection (ET-Fi) technology, which has been seen in the BS-VI Jupiter Classic.
TVS Motor, an Indian motorcycle manufacturer has launched the BS-VI compliant Scooty Zest 110 in India at US$ 781.40 (ex-showroom, Chennai). The all-new Scooty Zest is around US$ 80.20 (Rs 6,000) more expensive in comparison to the BS-IV model. The BS-VI Zest is available in two trims such as Matte Series and Himalayan High Series. Moreover, the new ZEST is available in six color options such as Terrific Turquoise, Matte Black, Matte Blue, Matte Purple, Matte Red, and Matte Yellow.
The kerb weight of the Zest 110 is 97 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 5 liters. The Zest comes with alloy wheels and tubeless tires. The BS-VI Zest is equipped with a single-cylinder, 110 cc air-cooled engine that makes out 7.8 hp of power at 7500 rpm, and 8.8 Nm of peak torque. However, the BS-IV Zest produced slightly more power (8 hp) and less torque (8.4 Nm) that the BS-VI Zest. Moreover, the Zest is equipped with the same Eco-thrust Fuel injection (ET-Fi) technology, which has been seen in the BS-VI Jupiter Classic. Apart from the BS-VI engine, the all-new Zest remains mostly unchanged.
The BS-VI Scooty Zest features dual-tone seat colors, silver oak interior panels, under-seat storage light, under-seat USB charger, and LED daytime running lights. Apart from the above changes, the overall styling of the scooter remains similar. According to the company, the mileage of the Scooty Zest is 62km per liter, which is the highest in its segment. The new Zest 110 has no direct competitors and its closest rivals are Honda Activa i, Suzuki Lets, and Hero Pleasure. Moreover, the company resumed manufacturing operations in India across all its manufacturing facilities such as Nalagarh, Mysuru, and Hosur in May 2020.
