The Screen Upon The New TCL Tablet Feels And Appears Like Paper

TCL has introduced new tablets and phones, including TCL 40 series and NXTPAPER 2.0 display at MWC 2023.

It is well known that TCL takes some chances with its designs. Viewers were offered a preview of it is near future earlier this year. During MWC 2023, the company debuted its most recent lineup of mobile devices as well as upgraded NXTPAPER technology.

The original TCL NXTPAPER 11, which is effectively a matte screen, NXTPAPER 2.0 technology has an 11-inch 2K display. 2nd display technology now possesses a brightness rating of 500 nits, making the screen feel like paper and blinking free, with an emphasis on eye health issues. At CES 2023 the company received the most criticism for having a dull appearance of NXTPAPER Phone Sample.

An octa-core MediaTek Helio P60T CPU, 4GB of memory, and 128GB of storage are among the new slate's internal parts. The majority of user expectations—from mild multitasking to continuous streaming—should be met by that combination. The 8,000mAh battery of the NXTPAPER 11 is one enticing feature.

As to its glare-free display, it appears to have every feature that would make it a competitive alternative to the Kindle. When it goes on sale in May, the device will cost $249, but it is presently unknown whether it will be sold in the United States. Users can read the TCL NXTPAPER 11 hands-on for preliminary thoughts.

TCL also provides a somewhat less expensive tablet that lacks the innovative display technology. The same storage, chipset, and battery configuration are included in the $179 TCL Tab 11.

The list's top device, the TCL 40X 5G, supports a 6.56-inch HD+ 90Hz LCD screen with a MediaTek Dimensity 700 backbone. A two 2MP co-snappers and 50MP primary camera are located at the back of the device. The TCL 40XE 5G, which is slightly below the competition in the pecking order, has the same display as its sibling but combines a two 2MP back cameras with13MP main camera. The two devices both have an 8MP front/selfie camera. These phones will retail at $169 and $199, respectively, and are only available in the US.

TCL has also introduced the TCL 406 Android 13 handset and the TCL 40XL with a slightly larger display.
