BMW India Introduces New Service Packages

There are some terms and conditions for all three packages, which can be found on the company's website.

BMW India has introduced service and repair packages to increase accessibility or to offer flawless service to its customers. Many automotive manufacturers in India have unveiled or introduced service packages or finance schemes to offer flawless service. Some of them have introduced digital platforms to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19 pandemic). BMW India has now introduced three service packages such as Repair Inclusive package, Service Inclusive Basic and Service Inclusive Plus package, and Oil Inclusive package.

All three packages are valid at the company’s authorized service centers in India. Now, based on the usage, customers can choose the mileage and duration of their service package from 3 years (40,000 km) to 10 years (200,000 km). The first package is the Oil Inclusive package. Customers can service their vehicle, however, it covers only engine oil service. The second is the Service Inclusive Basic package that covers all maintenance work. This package includes standard scopes, vehicle check, and engine oil top-ups, as well as replacement or service of the brake fluid, spark plugs, micro-filter, fuel filter, and air filter. The Service Inclusive Plus package includes all the above-mentioned maintenance work.

Apart from that, the Service Inclusive Plus package includes replacement of a few parts such as clutch, wiper blades (once a year), brake discs, and brake pads. Moreover, by paying the differential amount, customers can extend or renew the respective packages of their choice, for up to 15 months. The third one is a Repair Inclusive package. Customers can extend the vehicle’s 24 months (2 years) warranty to unlimited km or 6 years, and irrespective of mileage, it will cover repairs within the agreed contractual duration. However, there are some terms and conditions for all the Service Inclusive packages, which can be found on the company’s website. In case of ownership change, the packages will be transferred directly to the new owner.
